Excellent condition. Club crest is an embroidered patch and stitched onto shirt. Kappa logo is embroidered. Club sponsor is sublimated within the material. No pulls or bobbles, few small marks to lower rear of shirt. Colours and stitching in excellent condition.

1987/88 was a season of 2nd places for Ajax, they missed out of the 1987/88 Eredivisie title after finishing 2nd, 9 points off the top of the table. They also were losing finalists in the UEFA Super Cup and Cup Winners' Cup.
